At Ueno Park there is the Kan'ei-ji Temple which was built in the golden age of Edo, by the Tokugawa Lemitsu Shogun. This temple was built to seal the evil forces from the northeast, which is believed to be an unlucky eye. In 1837, Euno Park was designated by minister's order as a public park. In 1924, the Japanese Empire donated this park to the Tokyo Government. The historical story of Euno Park is indeed long, so that history is brought up with many parachutes that serve as a reminder of history and some of its museums.
