Ainokura Village, was awarded the UNESCO World Heritage Village since 1995

Ainokura Village, was awarded the UNESCO World Heritage Village since 1995. Not only does it offer panoramic views of nature and incredible views in each season, what is also interesting about Ainokura Village is the whole form of Gassho. The soaring thatched roof is the main attraction because it resembles the praying palm of one's hand. According to a local resident named Iwao, houses in Ainokura Village in the Gassho style are one of the villages known for their ancient home architecture with a ridge or roof in the shape of a prayer hand. That form is what makes Ainokura Village registered as one of the world's cultural heritages.

In the village, there are also Ainokura folk museums, private houses that provide food and lodging, and souvenir shops in the village. Tourists can also interact directly with local residents related to their traditional culture. Not only that, there is also one place that is the main attraction of tourists, including me, the spot to take photos of the entire Ainokura Village from a height. However, to reach photo spots is not easy, especially as it is now when snow can reach three to three meters. I also have to use boots that have been prepared by the owner of Gassho to penetrate the snow road. When night falls, the silence is felt, especially at a time like this that is winter when the snow will be falling heavily.

Therefore, staying at Ainokura is very suitable as a resting place from the bustle of big cities like Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. Destinations in Ainokura include the village of Toyama Prefecture and is a village that has a small and remote area. Ainokuro is located on a narrow mountain slope. But guaranteed to spoil your eyes because of the beautiful view that is very effective in refreshing a tired mind. Ainokura is also part of the Sho River to the west. This village has a height of 400 meters above sea level and is surrounded by forests and mountains. The population of Ainokura is only around 90 people consisting of 27 households. Really far from the hustle and bustle of the city and very comfortable for you to make it as a vacation location right ?.
