Shibazakura is a kind of flowering shrub that is concentrated pink. This flower is actually named "Hanatsume Kusa" or the Latin language Phlox subulata, but because this flower has 5 flower petals and a pink color so that eventually leboih is known as Shibazakura or if translated into Indonesian is "Sakura Grass".

Shibazakura flowers grow in spring, usually starting to bloom from April to May. The charm of Mount Fuji is indeed never exhausted. Especially if coupled with the vast expanse of flowering Shibazakura. Every year in the Yamanashi prefecture, precisely at Fuji Motosuko Resort, the city of Fuji-kawaguchiko is held a festival called the Fuji Shibazakura Festival.

This festival lasts about 1 month during the shibazakura flower blooming.
